Bred to be versatile
Ommadon is by Grindstone, an Unbridled son. This lineage is not only desirable for racing, but also for sport. Unbridled horses make excellent jumpers and stamp their get with powerful and substantial physiques. Long March, the dam of Imagine, is an excellent physical type, with elastic movements, three excellent gaits and excellent jump. If she hadn't sustained a career ending race injury, she would have made a fantastic event or hunter/jumper prospect. Long March's dam, Warfie, was a multiple Graded Stakes winner of $418,490.00. Her grand sire is Damascus and her dam's grand sire is Secretariat; a splendid sport horse pedigree. Long March herself earned $34,690 at the track before her injury ended her race career. We are very excited with the resulting colt.
