Donna Calimba

Proving herself in top company as a dressage talent to be reckoned with, this delightful mare also represents valuable bloodlines for breeding. The damline goes back to Pik As xx and Winkel and has produced a lot of proven show horses in Germany as well as approved sires. Donna Calimba's sire, De Niro, is an exceptional stallion of superlative type and performance, a Grand Prix horse himself by the age of 7. Referred to as "the embodiment of the Hanoverian stallion", De Niro is the heir apparent to Donnerhall, who passed away in 2002. He is consistently crashing records at Verband auctions all over Germany, one of the most sought after dressage sires today.

Donna Calimba is a product of the proven "nick" of crossing Donnerhall with Pik Bube. In her black "jacket", this elegant mare is just stunning with an even star and four even white socks. She moves with great hock action and power yet light over the ground. Her lengthening is jaw dropping. Steadily improving during the 2007/2008 winter season on the Florida dressage circuit, her last test in a qualifying class at First Level, Test 4 received a 70.526% for a 4th place in a large, competitive class. She received an 8 for her gaits.
