This Registered PA Bred is by Lion Cavern, already proven in Europe where he sired three champions and 31 stakes horses including Classic winner, Crimplene. He is a Classic placed full brother to Gone West and his first American crop (of which this filly is one) are starting. Ides of March is bred 3x4 to Secretariat and 5x5 to Nasrullah. She has clean x-rays and a Grade A scope. Her 2nd dam, Warfie, was a G 1 placed earner of $490,000. As of 3/5/04 she is being started, is lunging with bridle and saddle, and will be ridden within the next two weeks. This filly, like her dam Long March by the good broodmare sire Time for a Change, is a pleasure to work with.
